If you encounter a situation in which a teacher reports that they haven’t received a walkthrough, there might be several reasons for this (e.g., the walkthrough may have gone to their junk mail or spam folder, or it could have been a matter of whitelisting, etc.).
A quick way to ensure they get this feedback is to resend the walkthrough to the teacher directly within your web-based dashboard (via desktop).
Resending Walkthroughs from the Web-based Dashboard
2. Click Walkthroughs
3. From the Walkthroughs page, you can search for the walkthrough that you’re trying to resend to a teacher — you can also use Filters to make it even easier to locate the walkthrough. Once you see it, click on the Walkthrough name. This will bring up the expanded view.
4. From the Expanded View, you can scroll down and click Resend.
You will see a green notification that says Email Sent Successfully! (this notification shows up and then quickly disappears).
From here, it may take a few minutes for the Report Sent status to update, but once it does update it will display a Sent status.
Resending Walkthroughs from the Mobile app
1. Log into your app
2. Go to Walkthroughs
3. Search for the name of the walkthrough on your walkthrough list (or type it into the search bar). You can also apply filters on the mobile app which can help with locating it.
4. Click on the name of the walkthrough and this will pull up the PDF; in the right corner of your screen, click on the blue arrow.
This should pull up your smart device’s emailing tool. The PDF will attach to the email message. Enter the teacher’s email address, and be sure to CC anyone who needs to be CC’d.
Quick Tip
Sometimes, a quick update can resolve the issue! Make sure you are on the latest version of the app—go to the mobile app, log in, click Settings, and then scroll down to the bottom of the settings page (as of 10/30/2024, you should see version 5.6.189). Please update or delete the app and reinstall it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
These steps are meant to help you quickly get that feedback to teachers even if the mobile app didn’t send it for some reason. We want to make this process easy for you, so even if you’re able to resend the walkthrough from the desktop, let us know if you run into issues. Also, if it isn’t working using the ‘Resend’ feature within your dashboard via your web browser, please reach out.
