Many of our customers have expressed the need to update walkthrough time and date details after an observation has taken place.
Sometimes observers like to add or revise comments after the walkthrough has taken place (but prior to submitting the final walkthrough feedback form); and in some instances where observers step out and then return to a classroom, we know that time and date information might need to be adjusted for accuracy.
Based on your valuable input, we recently introduced the ability to edit the Date, Start Time, End Time, and even the reason for the change—ensuring our tool adapts to your dynamic classroom environments.
How to Edit the Date, Start Time, and End Time
1. Log into your Education Walkthrough account.
2. Navigate to the Walkthroughs page.
3. Find the walkthrough you want to adjust, and click on it. This will pull up the expanded view. If there are a lot of walkthroughs in the Walkthrough table, try using the Search or Filters feature to locate the walkthrough you want to edit.
4. Next to Walkthrough Date and Duration click Edit.

5. From here, you can edit the following fields: Walkthrough Date, Start Time, End Time, and Reason (reason for the edit).

6. Make any adjustments you need and then click Save at the bottom of the expanded view panel.
After saving, return to the Walkthroughs page where you should see the updated date stamp for the walkthrough you just edited.

If you click into the expanded view again, you’ll also see the updated date and duration.

What happens when I edit the walkthrough date and time?
When you edit the date and time, the changes are immediately saved and reflected on both the Walkthroughs page and in the expanded view of that specific walkthrough.
Can I edit the date and time of a completed walkthrough?
No, you can edit the date and time of a walkthrough only once it has been submitted.
Where can I view the updated walkthrough details?
Once saved, the updated date and time are visible on the Walkthroughs page (within the walkthrough table) and in the expanded view.
What should I do if the changes are not showing up?
If the updated details do not appear immediately, try refreshing your browser or logging out and back into your Education Walkthrough account. For additional assistance, please visit our support page.
