The walkthrough PDF is the thing teachers keep. Its layout, the logo at the top, whether your signature prints, and whether blank questions show, are set once per school.
Change the report layout
- Open Settings. District Admins pick the school first under School Settings.
- Find the report layout setting and choose a layout. The preview updates as you pick.
- Upload the school logo if you want it on every report.
- Choose whether to include your signature and whether to Only show completed questions.
- Click Save.
What applies to whom
- The layout and logo are school-wide. Every observer at the school gets the same report design.
- The signature and the completed-questions toggles are yours. They save for the person who clicked Save, not for the whole school. Each observer sets their own.
- Your signature image is uploaded under User Settings, Signature.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I change the layout for one template only?
A: No. The layout is per school. The content of the report comes from the template; the design comes from the school.
Q: Will old walkthroughs change?
A: No. A walkthrough’s PDF is built when it is submitted and keeps that layout and language, see How to Change Your Language Settings. New walkthroughs use the new layout.
Q: The report is huge.
A: Photos drive the size. Reports over the attachment limit go to the teacher as a download link, see Why Some Walkthrough Emails Have a Download Button.
Q: Can the district set one layout for every school?
A: Not today. A District Admin sets it school by school under School Settings.
