How to Use Template Locking

District Admins can now ensure consistency in template creation with the new Template Locking feature. By enabling this feature in Settings, you can restrict template creation to district users, maintaining oversight and reducing unauthorized changes. Here’s how to set it up.

How to Lock Your District’s Templates

1. Log into your Education Walkthrough account dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Settings tab in your dashboard.

3. Scroll to the Lock School Template Creation section and toggle the switch On to restrict Template Creation to District Users.

This should auto-save to apply the restriction (you’ll notice a green notification at the top of your screen that reads Settings updated successfully!). All template creation will now be limited to District Admins.

With Template Locking enabled, you’ll have better control over templates, ensuring they align with district-wide standards.
